Wines from the Zotzenberg hill show an exceptional personality, with a particular minerality and an elegant "bouquet".
Wines made from Sylvaner grown on the zotzenberg are absolutely unique : they are actually the only Sylvaners recognized as Grand Cru in Alsace.
Riesling from the Zotzenberg often reveals intensive citrus and beeswax aromas.
These wines reach their maturity after 3 to 4 years at least and can be aged much longer. |
